  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
  • medium yams - 4 item
  • can Carnation evaporated milk - 1 item

How to make sweet potato pie:

Boil yams for 25 minutes; cool, then peel. Place yams, butter, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in mixing bowl. Add can of Carnation milk. Whip at medium speed until all lumps are gone. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 35 minu
