Ingredients/Components
- grated carrots - 1 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- ginger ale - 1 c
- lemon Jell-O - 1 pkg
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- crushed nuts - 1/3 c
How to make sunset salad:
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water and cool. Add ginger ale. Chill. When slightly thickened, add vinegar, pineapple and carrots. Turn into mold. Chill until firm. Eat plain or serve with salad dressing.I put a lettuce leaf on a plate and put the salad on it. This is a great Easter salad.
