Strawberry-spinach salad

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• vegetable oil - 1/2 c
• vinegar - 1/4 c
• poppy seed
• paprika - 1/4 Tbsp
• Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 Tbsp
• sesame seed - 2 Tbsp
• minced onion
• spinach, washed, dried and torn - 1 item
• or more fresh strawberries, halved - 1 pt

How to make strawberry-spinach salad:

Dressing:1/2 c. sugar1 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion1/4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 Tbsp. paprika1/4 c. vinegar2 Tbsp. sesame seed1 1/2 Tbsp. poppy seed1/2 c. vegetable oil Place all ingredients, except oil and vinegar in blender. Start it running. Combine the oil and vinegar; pour in a steady stream. Blend until mixed well and thick. Pour over spinach and strawberries. Mix in 1/2 cup halved pecans.

Dressing is better made a day in advance. Serves 8.
