Strawberry shortcake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• milk - 1/2 c
• butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
• Bisquick baking mix
• strawberries, cut in halves - 1 qt

How to make strawberry shortcake:

Heat oven to 425°. Mix strawberries and sugar; set aside. Mix Bisquick baking mix, milk, sugar and melted butter. Spread in an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from pan; cool. Cut in pieces. Split each piece. Spoon strawberries on bottom layer. Put top on and add remaining strawberries and whipped cream over top of each piece.
