Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • strawberry jello - 2 pkg
  • small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • bananas, mashed can omit if desired - 2 item

How to make strawberry salad:

Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add strawberries, frozen, and stir until dissolved. Let set until syrupy. Add the pineapple, mashed bananas and nuts. Pour half of this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch flat dish and let set. Spread with sour cream and carefully pour the other half of the strawberry mixture over this. Refrigerate.
