Ingredients/Components

  • cup chopped nuts - 1 item
  • medium bananas, mashed - 3 item
  • pint sour cream - 1 item
  • cup boiling water - 1 item
  • pkgs strawberry jello - 2 item
  • 10 oz pkgs frozen sliced strawberries, thawed - 2 item
  • 1 lb 4 oz can crushed pineapple - 1 item

How to make strawberry nut salad:

In large container, combine jello with boiling water, stir until dissolved. Fold in all at once - strawberries with juice, drained pineapple, bananas, nuts. Pour 1/2 mixture in to 12x8x2 pan. Freeze until firm, (1 1/2 hours). Spread with sour cream. Gently spoon on rest of mixture. Chill.
