Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • strawberry gelatin - 2 pkg
  • medium bananas, mashed - 3 item

How to make strawberry nut salad:

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Fold in strawberries. Mix pineapple, bananas and nuts together. Add to gelatin. Pour half of mixture into a 13 x 8-inch dish. Chill until firm. Spread sour cream on chilled gelatin. Gently pour remaining mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate until congealed and ready to serve.
