Strawberry nut salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- cherry Jell-O
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- bananas, mashed - 2 item
How to make strawberry nut salad:
In large container, combine gelatin with boiling water. Stir until dissolved; then fold in all at once strawberries with juice, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Pour half mixture into long dish; refrigerate until firm. Keep the other half over warm water to keep it from congealing. Spread sour cream over firm Jell-O then spoon the other half of mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until firm.
