Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- self-rising flour - 1 Tbsp
- medium eggs - 4 item
- frozen strawberries, thawed - 1/2 c
- box Duncan Hines white cake mix - 1 item
- Icing:1 box powdered sugar
- melted stick margarine - 1 item
- box small strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
How to make strawberry cake:
Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 melted stick margarine1/2 c. frozen strawberries, thawed Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Add oil, strawberries and water. Blend together. Add the well beaten eggs. Blend together. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes in two 8-inch pans. Do not overbake! Let cool before icing.Icing: Blend powdered sugar and melted margarine together. Add strawberries and juice slowly, while blending. You might not need all strawberries. If icing becomes too runny, then add more powdered sugar. Keep cake refrigerated if possible. Always a hit!
