Ingredients/Components

  • packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • chili powder - 2 tsp
  • can pork and beans - 1 oz
  • ground cumin - 1 tsp
  • finely chopped onion - 3/4 c
  • shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1 c
  • slices bacon, cooked and crumbled - 8 item
  • taco sauce - 8 oz
  • can chili beans, undrained - 1 1/2

How to make spicy baked beans:

Combine all ingredients except cheese; mix gently. Place in a greased 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 475° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375°; bake 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 15 minutes longer.
