Southern pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• eggs, lightly beaten - 3 item
• light corn syrup - 1/2 c
• dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
• broken pecans - 1 c

How to make southern pecan pie:

Mix together eggs, sugar, pecans, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Pour filling into prepared pie shell. Arrange pecan halves around inside edge. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°; bake for 45 minutes or until center is firm. Cool to room temperature.
