  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • chopped walnuts or pecans - 1 c
  • commercial sour cream - 1 c

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/4 c. granulated sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla.

Pour half of batter into tube or angel food pan that has been greased and floured. Sprinkle half of topping over it. Pour remaining batter in pan and top with remaining topping. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes. Serves 12. Can do ahead, as stays moist.
