Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cake:1/2 c. butter1 c. sugar2 eggs2 c. flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. baking powder1 c. sour cream1 tsp. vanilla extract Cream butter and sugar together; add eggs and beat. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add dry ingredients with sour cream, then add that to the butter/sugar/egg mixture. This will be thick. Add vanilla. Pour mixture into a floured Bundt pan. Alternate cake mixture with topping mixture. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
