Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- shredded cheese - 4 6
- green peppers, chopped - 1/2 c
- head lettuce - 1 item
- Bac*Os or bacon bits - 2 3
- frozen peas, cook slightly until thawed, rinse and cool - 1 pkg
How to make seven layer salad:
Make two layers of each in 7 1/2 x 12-inch Pyrex dish. Spread 1 to 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise over the top (or salad dressing) mixed with a little cream. Seal tightly with Saran Wrap. Let stand overnight. Just before serving, toss slightly. Top with 4 to 6 ounces of shredded cheese and Bac*Os.Recipe categories: American, Salads, Vegetables.
