Scottish oat scones
Ingredients/Components
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- oats - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- wheat germ - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- milk - 1/3 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- sugar and cinnamon - 1 item
How to make scottish oat scones:
Combine dry ingredients. Add margarine, egg and milk. Stir. Add raisins. On waxed paper, knead dough 5 times. Pat into an 8 x 8-inch square. Cut into 4 squares, then each square into 4 triangles. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Place on cookie sheRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Scones.
