Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- wheat germ - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- finely chopped apples - 1 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- apple juice - 1 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make double apple muffins:
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Add apples and raisins. Stir in apple juice, oil and eggs until moistened. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pans. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
