Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- corn syrup - 1 c
- Rice Krispies - 6 c
- peanut butter - 1 c
How to make scotcheroos:
Cook sugar and corn syrup in a 3-quart saucepan over moderate heat until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies. Press into a buttered (greased) 9 x 13-inch pan. Let harden. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a double boiler; stir to blend. Spread over top of cereal mixture. Chill until top is firm.
