Sandwich cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• soda
• cocoa - 2/3 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• powdered sugar - 3 c
• sifted flour
• cream - 3 Tbsp
• oleo
• oleo or butter - 1/2 c
• Cream oleo, sugar and egg then add rest of ingredients

How to make sandwich cookies:

Chocolate Part:3/4 c. oleo1 c. sugar1 egg2 c. sifted flour1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt2/3 c. cocoa1/4 c. milk1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix each part in its own bowl. Cream oleo, sugar and egg then add rest of ingredients. Chill a few hours. Roll out and cut to sandwich cookie size. Bake at 400°. When cold, put 1 vanilla and 1 chocolate together with frosting.Frosting:5 Tbsp. butter4 Tbsp. cream1 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. salt3 c. powdered sugar Mix together until of spreading consistency. Use more or less powdered sugar as necessary.
