  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • water - 3 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • envelope onion soup - 1 item
  • cubed steak - 1 lb
  • envelopes brown gravy mix - 2 item

How to make round steak sauerbraten:

In a skillet, brown meat and remove. Put remaining ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil. Add meat. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Serve over hot buttered noodles. Serves 4 to 6 people.
