Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 3 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- envelope onion soup - 1 item
- cubed steak - 1 lb
- envelopes brown gravy mix - 2 item
How to make round steak sauerbraten:
In a skillet, brown meat and remove. Put remaining ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil. Add meat. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Serve over hot buttered noodles. Serves 4 to 6 people.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Steak.
