Reuben pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- rolled oats - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- caraway seed - 1 tsp
- shredded Swiss cheese
- Thousand Island dressing - 1/4 c
- can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed - 1 oz
- cooked shredded corned beef or 1 can corned beef - 1 lb
How to make reuben pie:
Combine beef, oats, egg, onion, dressing, salts and pepper in large bowl. Mix well. Press mix into bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate. Microwave on High 5 minutes, rotating plate once. Combine sauerkraut, caraway and cheese. Spoon over meat evenly. Microwave on High, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
