Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- sifted flour
- salad oil - 1 c
- small jars baby food beets - 3 item
How to make red beet chocolate cake:
Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add oil, beets, melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat on low speed. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture.Bake in a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 50 or 60 minutes. This is a moist cake.
Ice with your favorite icing.
