sugar - 1 c
vanilla - 1/2 tsp
salt - 1/4 tsp
flour - 2 c
water
soda - 1/2 tsp
baking powder - 1/2 tsp
raisins - 1 c
Crisco - 1/2 c
beaten eggs - 2 item
cinnamon, allspice and cloves - 1/2 tsp

How to make raisin drop cookies:

Boil the raisins in the water until water is about gone. Add the soda. Set aside. Cream the shortening and add to raisin mixture. Add sifted dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake in a 325° oven. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
