Ingredients/Components
- yeast - 1 pkg
- flour - 2 c
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- wheat germ - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- raisins - 3/4 c
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- water
How to make raisin bread:
Mix in order given. Knead on a floured surface. Let rise. Punch down. Make into 2 loaves or may be made into rolls. Let rise, then bake at 350° until done and brown. Butter tops when done.Recipe categories: Breads, American, North american.
