Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • self-rising flour
  • warm water - 1 c
  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • dry yeast - 2 pkg
  • liquid shortening - 1/3 c

How to make quick rolls:

Melt yeast in water. Mix all ingredients and make a workable dough. Knead slightly and roll over to 1/2-inches thick on floured board. Cut in desired shapes. Brush with melted butter. Cook at 325° for about 20 minutes. Refrigerate unused dough until ready to cook.
