  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • melted butter - 3/4 c
  • hot water - 2 c
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
  • crushed pretzels - 2 c
  • large strawberry Jell-O - 1 item

How to make pretzel salad:

Mix pretzels, butter and 4 tablespoons sugar together. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish. Bake at 400° for 5 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on top of pretzels. Mix Jell-O and water. Add strawberries. Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill. Serves 12.
