Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 tsp
- cream cheese
- pkg - 1 oz
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- small carton Cool Whip - 1 item
- crushed pretzel sticks - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Salad:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. sugar1 small carton Cool Whip1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries Crust: Mix ingredients; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 9 minutes; cool.Salad: Blend cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Blend 2 cups hot water and the strawberry jello. Add the frozen strawberries. Refrigerate until partially set. Add jello mixture on top of cheese mixture. Top with pretzels, if desired.
