- butter
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- poppy seed - 1/2 c
- lemons, juiced - 2 item
How to make poppy seed cake:
Glaze:2 Tbsp. butter2 lemons, juiced1 1/2 c. powdered sugar Glaze: Heat juice and the other ingredients until sugar meltsCake: Using an electric mixer, beat all ingredients 2 minutes. Pour into well greased spring-form or tube pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool 7 minutes. Prick cake with a fork and pour glaze over cake while still warm.
