Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1/2 c
• flour - 2 c
• cold water - 2 c
• oil - 1 Tbsp
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp
• food coloring - 1 item

How to make play dough:

Mix dry ingredients in a pan. Add oil, water and food coloring. Stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. When it sticks together in a ball and seems cooked through, turn out onto a table and knead at once for at least 5 minutes. Store in a tight container. Do not refrigerate.
