Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • water - 1 c
  • food coloring - 1/2 tsp
  • salad oil - 1 Tbsp
  • peppermint flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • cream of tartar most important, do not omit - 2 tsp

How to make play dough:

This is the famous play dough I used in the 2-year old Sunday School class. It will wash out of clothes and carpets!

Blend all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture rolls together in a ball. Cool. Knead until smooth. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
