Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- beef broth - 1 c
- garlic cloves - 2 item
- round steak
- onion sliced - 1 c
- sliced bell peppers - 2 item
How to make pepper steak:
Sprinkle paprika over meat, cut in strips and let stand 10 minutes. Cook meat and garlic in oleo until browned. Add onions and peppers. Cook until wilted. Add beef broth and simmer 15 minutes. Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce. Add to meat mixture. Cook until thickened. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
