- sugar - 7 c
- water - 1 c
- white Karo - 1 c
- cut-up pears - 3 qt
How to make pear preserves:
Cook sugar, Karo and water to a rolling boil. Drop pears into mixture. Cook over medium heat until thick. Makes 4 pints.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Jams and preserves, Pears.
