  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • oleo - 1 Tbsp
  • white Karo - 1/4 c
  • peanuts - 1 c
  • red food coloring to make real red - 1 item

How to make peanut patties:

Combine and cook first 6 ingredients at medium heat until hard ball stage. Add last 2 ingredients. Stir until pink. Pour into greased round cake pan. Makes one round cake pan size patty.
