  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter; mix well. Gradually add sugar; cream after each addition. Add eggs and milk, mixing well. Sift together flour and soda. Blend with first mixture. Drop teaspoonful of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
