Orange cream cheese bread

- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- orange rind - 2 Tbsp
How to make orange cream cheese bread:
Combine cream cheese and shortening, creaming well. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well after each. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix well and stir in walnuts and orange rind. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 375° for 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Sprinkle orange juice over loaves.
