Nutty apple salad

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 tsp
• vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
• nuts optional - 1/2 c
• peanut butter - 3 Tbsp
• miniature marshmallows - 1 c
• mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
• thinly sliced celery - 2 c
• cold evaporated milk
• seedless red grapes - 2 c
• cubed tart apples - 2 c

How to make nutty apple salad:

Dressing:1/2 c. cold evaporated milk1/2 tsp. sugar1/4 tsp. vanilla extract3 Tbsp. mayonnaise3 Tbsp. peanut butter1/2 c. nuts (optional) In a large bowl combine celery, grapes, apples and marshmallows. In a chilled mixing bowl, beat milk until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat in mayonnaise and peanut butter. Pour over apples and stir until coated. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving add nuts. Serves 12-14 people.
