Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- canned tomatoes - 2 c
- mostaccioli noodles - 1 pkg
How to make mostaccioli:
Melt butter in large skillet. Add and brown ground beef and onion. Pour noodles in boiling water to cover and let cook until almost dry. Add tomatoes, spices and tomato sauce. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add olive oil and simmer. Layer noodles and sauce in casserole dish. Top with cheese and serve hot.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
