Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- Cool Whip
- cold milk - 4 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- small instant chocolate pudding - 3 item
- large Hershey almond chocolate bar - 1 item
How to make mississippi mud pie:
Mix together like pie dough the butter, flour and chopped nuts, will be stiff. Place in 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.For the second layer mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip and spread over the cooled bottom crust.
For the third layer mix together chocolate pudding and milk and spread over second layer. Spread a layer of Cool Whip over pudding for the fourth layer. Break into small pieces the Hershey almond chocolate bar and sprinkle over fourth layer. Keep dessert chilled until serving.
