Microwave caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- white syrup - 1/3 c
- 1/2 stick butter - 1 item
- unsalted popped corn - 8 qt
How to make microwave caramel corn:
Pour into grocery bag the unsalted popped corn. In a 2-quart bowl mix the brown sugar, butter, white syrup and salt. Cook on High 2 1/2 minutes; stir well. Cook on High 2 1/2 more minutes, remove and add the soda. Stir well. Pour on popcorn in a sack; shake well.Close tightly and cook on High 1 1/2 minutes. Remove; shake. Cook 1 1/2 minutes more; remove and shake. Cook 45 seconds and shake. Cook 30 seconds and shake. Pour onto an opened sack; cool.
