  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • light Karo syrup - 1/4 c
  • large bowl popped corn do not add salt - 1 item
  • stick butter, melted in a deep bowl - 1 item

How to make microwave caramel corn:

Cook (for the sauce) the butter, syrup, brown sugar and baking soda on High for 3 minutes. In 2 large paper bags, place the popped corn and the sauce. Shake well; may want to stir a little. Return entire bag to microwave for 2 minutes. Shake again. Return bag to microwave for 2 minutes. Great snack for kids.
