Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 2 tsp
- ground beef
- salt and pepper - 1/2 tsp
- tomato juice - 1/3 c
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- fresh bread crumbs - 3/4 c
How to make meat loaf:
Topping:1/4 c. ketchup1/2 tsp. prepared mustard2 tsp. brown sugar In large bowl, combine ketchup, tomato juice, salt, black and red pepper, eggs, bread crumbs, onion and mustard. Mix well. Add ground beef; mix well. Line a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with foil. Press beef mixture in.Topping: Mix ingredients; top the meat loaf. Bake at 400° for 35 to 45 minutes. Drain off fat.
