Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk
- water
- warm water - 1/2 c
- active dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make malasadas:
Heat ingredients in a pot to lukewarm.In the large bowl of dry ingredients, add 6 eggs. Add yeast and milk mixture. Scrape bowl and pat with 1 cup extra flour. Cover and set in warm place until dough doubles in size. Drop by teaspoon into hot oil (350°). Cook until brown. Drain on paper towel. Roll in sugar. Enjoy and good luck!
