Make ahead potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- margarine or butter - 4 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chives, chopped - 1/3 c
- to 10 medium sized potatoes - 8 item
- additional margarine or butter - 1 item
How to make make ahead potatoes:
Boil potatoes until tender. Beat sour cream and cream cheese together. Add hot potatoes and beat until smooth. Add butter, chives and salt and pepper to taste. Place in a greased 2-quart casserole. Dot with butter and sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.Can be made days ahead. Refrigerate or freeze. Reheat at time of serving.
