Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground turkey - 1 lb
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- small can kidney beans - 1 item
How to make low-fat chili:
In a large pot, brown turkey. Drain any excess fat. Add onion, pepper and garlic. Stir until onion changes color. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 1/2 hours. (One cup with 5 crackers equals 8 grams total fat.)Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
