Layered spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sliced green onions - 1/2 c
- cherry tomatoes, halved - 1 c
- slices bacon, cooked and crumbled - 8 item
- shredded red cabbage - 2 c
- bottle Ranch dressing - 1 oz
- torn spinach leaves* - 6 c
How to make layered spinach salad:
Cook tortellini to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with cold water. In large clear-glass bowl with straight sides or a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, layer cabbage, spinach, tortellini, tomatoes and green onions. Pour dressing evenly over top; sprinkle with bacon. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.*I usually cut back on the spinach and add some lettuce. You can also add any other chopped vegetables that you like (such as: green pepper, green or ripe olives, celery, etc.).
