Layered cauliflower salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- medium head cauliflower - 1 item
- bacon, cooked and crumbled - 1/2 lb
- large purple onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces - 1 item
How to make layered cauliflower salad:
Wash cauliflower and cut flowerets into bite size pieces. Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in 3-quart bowl. Combine mayonnaise and sugar and mix well. Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover salad tightly and refrigerate 24 hours. Toss gently before serving.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Cauliflower.
