Lavender punch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cold water - 2 qt
- boiling water - 1 c
- ginger ale - 1 qt
- grape juice - 1/2 c
- tartaric acid - 1 tsp
- juice of rind of 1 lemon
- juice of rind of 1 orange
How to make lavender punch:
Combine juice of lemon and orange rinds, sugar, tartaric acid and boiling water. Allow to stand for 24 hours. Strain if desired. Add cold water and grape juice. Pour into punch bowl. Add ginger ale just before serving. Yields 20 servings.Recipe categories: Drinks, Punch beverage, Canadian.
