Lavender punch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cold water - 2 qt
- boiling water - 1 c
- ginger ale - 1 qt
- grape juice - 1/2 c
- juice and rind of 1 lemon
- juice and rind of 1 orange
- tartaric acid - 1 tsp
How to make lavender punch:
Combine juice of lemon and orange, rinds, sugar, tartaric acid and boiling water. Allow to stand for 24 hours. Strain if desired. Add cold water and grape juice; pour into punch bowl. Add ginger ale just before serving. Yields 20 servings.Recipe categories: Drinks, Punch beverage, Canadian.
