  • sugar - 2 c
  • cold water - 2 qt
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • ginger ale - 1 qt
  • grape juice - 1/2 c
  • juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • juice and rind of 1 orange
  • tartaric acid - 1 tsp

How to make lavender punch:

Combine juice of lemon and orange, rinds, sugar, tartaric acid and boiling water. Allow to stand for 24 hours. Strain if desired. Add cold water and grape juice; pour into punch bowl. Add ginger ale just before serving. Yields 20 servings.
