Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- can tomatoes mash - 1 lb
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- water - 2 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- lasagna noodles - 9 item
- cottage cheese - 16 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 3 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
How to make lasagna:
Brown ground beef with onion and drain. Add next 9 ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes. Boil noodles with salt and 1 teaspoon oil. Drain. Mix cottage cheese with 2 eggs.In a 9 x 13-inch pan, make 3 layers, beginning with small amount of meat sauce, 3 noodles, cottage cheese, egg mixture and Mozzarella. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake 50 minutes at 350°. Let set 10 minutes before cutting.
