Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 4 item
- egg whites - 6 item
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- lime juice - 1/2 c
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
Beat egg yolks until lemon colored. Blend in condensed milk; slowly add lime juice and mix well. Add cream of tartar to egg whites; beat until foamy. Continue to beat and add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until forms peaks. Fold 7 tablespoons of meringue into filling. Pour into 9-inch pie shell and top with remaining meringue.
