- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp

- milk - 2 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- sifted cake flour - 2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- can Angel Flake coconut - 1 item
- soda in milk - 1 tsp
How to make italian cream cake:
Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 stick butter1 tsp. confectioners sugar2 Tbsp. milk1 can Angel Flake coconut1 c. pecans Cream together sugar, Crisco, butter and egg yolks and cream well. Add remaining ingredients. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in batter. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in 3 (8-inch) pans.Icing: Mix cream cheese, butter, confectioners sugar and milk together. Spread over the layers of cake. Sprinkle coconut and pecans between layers.
